Bus duct arrage as the figure showing right . The end flage unit end connected with a Transformer or LT panel so that the power feed in it for proper distribution. This called main power duct. It's current cappacity is highest than the othe bus duct.There are several tap of boxes using as feeder unit for the medium machine power bbt & Lighting bbt.


For high rising buidings the busbar are used vertically with ground. In this case two type riser (Vertical bus duct term as riser) uses. One is power distribution riser & another is emergencey riser. Emergency riser are low rating than main riser.

This is the city of Gazipur, very near to Dhaka capital of Bangladesh. It is one of the most busiest place in Bangladesh. All the buildings around the photo are industries, garments & corporate office. This place is called board bazar , soidana. The national university of Bangladesh , Islamic University of Technology (IUT) located here. So it is also a place of education. This photo is taken to the top floor of Matrix Sweater Ltd.

BUS :Bus is a vehicle for traveling from one place to other. But electrical bus is nothing but a physical interface which connects to a number of electrical load that share the same connection. Buses are used for distribution of electrical power to components of a system.



Busbar : The thick metal used as bus is called busbar. It may be copper (Cu) or aluminum (AL).



BBT : BBT ( Bus bar Trunking System ) is a busway system that used for convey electrical power in the industry.
It is very safe and reliable for power distribution system. it has several advantages:



1. Busbar trunking systems have the advantage of expansions, changes, replacements and reusing capability in the future.
2. Installation time is much shorter than cable systems. This provides low installation and manpower costs and helps for better time management.
3. Reduce number of DISTRIBUTION BOARDS. It is possible to feed loads (machinery, floors, etc.) directly with tap-off boxes.
4. . Busbar systems need less space than cable systems, especially for high ampere rates.
5. Busbars have sheet metal body. This helps transferring the generated heat out through metalhousing. Cooling is better than cable systems.
6. Busbar systems do not burn, do not carry flames and do not generate poisonous(halogen, etc.) gas incase of fire.
